Installation and Use

 

1. During installation, the concentricity tolerance between the pump shaft and the motor must be less than 0.10 mm (TIR), the maximum allowable angular error must be less than 0.2 degrees, and a flexible coupling must be used; the pump shaft must not bear radial and axial loads; the bracket must be sturdy, rigid, and able to fully absorb vibrations.
2. If the pump speed is below 1200 r/min, the suction port should be installed upward when installing the pump, so that the pump can easily suck in liquid when starting.
3. Fixed pipelines, especially the inlet pipeline, must be installed according to the caliber size, and a safety pressure relief valve must be assembled in the system; the adjustment pressure of the safety valve must not exceed the maximum pressure of the pump; the inlet pipeline must be strictly sealed and must not leak water; the oil tank should be equipped with a diaphragm to separate bubbles and dirt from the oil; the oil return nozzle should be lower than the liquid level, with a minimum depth of 50 mm, and even at low positions, bubble formation should be avoided.
4. The oil should be kept clean, and the pipelines and oil tank must be thoroughly cleaned; a precision filter should be assembled in the system, with a recommended precision of 25μm, and the cleanliness of the oil should be within NSA12. A filter with sufficient capacity (the rated flow rate should be more than twice the pump flow rate) should be fixed 50 mm above the inlet port of the pump, with a recommended precision of 100μm (150 mesh).
5. Selection of Hydraulic Oil: This series of pumps is suitable for various oils, including petroleum-based oils, water-cut hydraulic oils, and synthetic hydraulic oils. However, pump specifications such as maximum pressure and maximum pump speed may vary depending on the type of hydraulic oil used. For details, please refer to the specifications of the relevant pump.
To improve pump performance and extend service life, it is recommended to use anti-wear hydraulic oil (such as ISO VG32 or ISO VG46). It is best when the oil viscosity is 30 cSt (keep the oil temperature between 10~60 ℃, optimally 35~50 ℃). Continuous operation at high temperatures should be avoided, otherwise the pump's service life will be shortened. If necessary, a heater and cooler should be installed to adjust the oil temperature.

7. The suction pressure set at the pump inlet should be the value given in the table below (related to the pump speed, the minimum suction pressure may be limited to a certain rated displacement). If the pump is installed on the oil tank or at a position higher than the top cover of the oil tank, the height of the pump inlet should be less than 500 mm.

Note: For PV2R3-116, 125, 136 pumps, when the speed is greater than 1700 r/min, the minimum inlet pressure is 0 KPa.
8. Check the inlet, outlet, and rotation direction before starting the pump. After fixing the pump, manually rotate the pump shaft evenly and flexibly. It is best to fill the pump with oil for the first time.
In the initial operation or operation after a long rest, the pump may encounter difficulties in sucking in liquid; in this case, an air release valve should be installed on the discharge side in advance, or the air can be discharged by slightly loosening the connection on the discharge side. When starting, try to operate the pump intermittently under no-load conditions.
9. When starting, if the oil viscosity is higher than the suitable viscosity (54 cSt), the pressure should be limited to 50% or less of the respective rated value until the system warms up.
