Goddess Day Romantic Trip: Journey through Songcheng, savor the elegance and poetry of West Lake

　　Spring is in the air, everything is renewed, and it's Goddess Day once again. On this special day for women, the female employees of Zhejiang Yongling Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd. received a special surprise—a trip to Hangzhou filled with the charm of spring.

　　On the morning of March 9th, we set off for Hangzhou by bus. Along the way, the scenery outside the window was picturesque, bathed in sunshine, as if it were a gift for us. From 'counting ducks' to 'counting stars' and then 'counting red envelopes,' everyone sang and laughed, filled with anticipation and joy, ready to experience the rich Song Dynasty culture and the beautiful scenery of the misty and rainy Jiangnan.

　　Our first stop was Songcheng. Standing at the entrance of Songcheng, I couldn't help but feel a surge of emotion. Every brick, every tile, every plant, and every tree here is filled with the marks of history. The local customs and traditions exude a strong cultural atmosphere. Stepping into Songcheng is like stepping into history. Wandering through the ancient streets and alleys, it's as if we've traveled through time and space, instantly returning to the prosperous Song Dynasty. A picture of ancient charm unfolds before our eyes.

　　Songcheng is an ancient city with cultural, natural, and modern elements. Its layout is based on the famous painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival," showcasing a glimpse of the life in the Song Dynasty capital, Bianjing. With its intricate brackets and eaves, bustling streets, elegant simplicity, and beautiful scenery at every turn, it recreates the urban landscape of the Song Dynasty. As we strolled through this thousand-year-old scroll, we seemed to hear the distant sounds of the bustling streets and feel the strong cultural atmosphere. Here, we saw the prosperity of the Song Dynasty, the lives of the Song people, and the splendor of that era. Songcheng, like a vivid history textbook, showcases the essence of the Song Dynasty culture as Hangzhou's first theme park, awakening our endless imagination of that distant era.

　　Songcheng boasts rich cultural heritage and unique folk customs, making it hard to leave. Programs such as shadow puppet shows, Shangganling, The Great Earthquake, and The Case of Zhameian, add endless charm to this ancient city. "I have not seen the Yellow River's water come down from the sky, rushing to the sea never to return." The large-scale song and dance performance "Songcheng Millennium Love" is truly breathtaking. Using advanced technology and stage design, combined with the superb skills of the actors, it depicts the hardships of the Liangzhu ancestors, the glory of the Song Palace, the tragic battle of the Yue Family Army, and the timeless love stories of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, and Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian. The misty and rainy Jiangnan, the ink-wash landscape, are vividly portrayed. It is a visual feast and a spiritual baptism. "Give me a day, and I'll give you a thousand years." The moving song and dance performance and the captivating scenery of Songcheng leave a deep impression. In this awe-inspiring performance, we felt the thousand-year splendor of Songcheng's rich history, the heroic spirit of that era, and the relentless passage of time.

　　In the evening, we arrived at Qianjiang New Town. The city's light show was breathtaking. "The night in the new town is so bright, the lights are on, and people are happy." In the light show, I saw the prosperity and vitality of this city. Each building was illuminated, transforming into a brilliant pearl. The magnificent lights, the spacious squares, the towering buildings, and the winding river complemented each other, creating a poetic and picturesque scene. The entire city seemed to be enveloped in light, forming a beautiful landscape. The high-rise buildings, tree-lined streets, and bustling commercial areas are full of modern elements. However, here, I also saw ancient cultural traditions and the accumulation of history. These ancient buildings and historical sites have become cultural symbols of the city, allowing people to feel the profound heritage of this city.

　　The next morning, we set off for West Lake. "Treasure the tourists entering the painting, the towers and pavilions are embroidered and spread with mats." Arriving at the shores of West Lake, everyone marveled at the beautiful scenery, with flowers in full bloom and willows swaying gently, as if we were in a beautiful painting. Su Causeway in Spring, commonly known as Su Gong Causeway, is a tree-lined embankment that runs through the scenic area of West Lake, and is the first of the Ten Scenes of West Lake. "Willows are dark, flowers are bright, spring is at its best, the mist on the double lake dissipates, separating the sand and the woods." Strolling along Su Causeway, the spring sunshine warmed our faces, gentle and soothing. Birds sang merrily, the lake surface rippled gently, reflecting the lush willows, like smoke and mist, a fairyland. At this moment, we were immersed in this tranquility and beauty, as if time had slowed down. We stopped to admire the scenery, took photos to commemorate the moment, and enjoyed this rare leisure.

　　From south to north, Su Causeway has Yingbo Bridge, Suolan Bridge, Wangshan Bridge, Yati Bridge, Dongpu Bridge, and Kuahong Bridge. In the Yubei Pavilion south of Wangshan Bridge stands a stele inscribed with "Su Causeway in Spring" by Emperor Kangxi. "Spring on the lake is like a painting, with chaotic peaks surrounding the flat water." Standing on Wangshan Bridge, one can seem to see the clouds and mist swirling above the mountains, a truly refreshing sight.

　　"Under Huajia Mountain flows Huagang, flowers adorn the fish's body, and fish nibble on flowers." When visiting West Lake, Huagang Guan Yu is a must-see attraction. It is a place sculpted by both history and nature, attracting countless visitors with its unique "flowers, harbor, and fish" characteristics. Walking along the paths of Huagang Guan Yu, among the lawns and forests, the trees are lush, and the camellias are in full bloom, creating a romantic atmosphere.

　　Countless red koi swim in the surrounding ponds, leisurely swimming at times, and vying for food at others. Tourists threw food, and the fish leaped out of the water, dancing gracefully, like a symphony of life. "Among them, I only feel the joy of the swimming fish, and I too forget my worries and am happy like a fish." At this moment, people amused the fish, and the fish also pleased the people.

　　"If I were to compare West Lake to Xizi, light makeup or heavy makeup, it is always beautiful." The scenery of West Lake is breathtaking. Taking a boat tour around West Lake, admiring the beautiful scenery of Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Autumn Moon over Calm Lake, Broken Bridge with Snow, and Sunset Glow at Leifeng Pagoda, and experiencing the feeling of "being in a painting" amidst the beautiful mountains and waters, is truly refreshing. The laughter of the sisters was like the spring sunshine, illuminating the entire West Lake.

　　In the afternoon, we returned to Xianju, ending this pleasant journey. During these two days, we not only admired the beautiful scenery of Hangzhou, but also savored its rich historical atmosphere and cultural heritage.
